The White Hart Hotel is rests in the historic
market town of Burgh
le Marsh. Burgh le Marsh lies in between the sandy beaches
of the Lincolnshire Coast and the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire
Wolds.
A short drive eastwards from Burgh
le Marsh is the holiday Town of Skegness. Inland to
the west is the historic city of Lincoln, a former Roman settlement,
with its magnificent gothic cathedral. Also inland, there are
the market towns of Spilsby
and Alford.
The famous explorer, Sir John Franklin,
was born in Spilsby,
and a fine statue of him stands in the market square. Alford
has its well renowned Craftmarket
and its unique Manorhouse.
The Lincolnshire coast at Mablethorpe
and Sutton
on Sea offers everything a visitor to the seaside could want
– fairground rides, bucket and spade on the beach, links
golf courses, walks on seemingly endless stretches of sand and
sea, and much more. But if you like the idea of parking your car
up for the duration of your stay, there’s a number of walks
right on the doorstep. There is a cycle/footpath into Skegness.
Whatever you choose to do, we’ll
guarantee you a generous helping of good old Lincolnshire
hospitality at the White Hart Hotel.
